Kurt Girstmair

TL;DR
This paper explicitly computes the inverses of certain cyclotomic matrices involving sine and cosine functions, using Gauss sums, for square-free natural numbers.
Contribution
It provides explicit formulas for the inverses of specific cyclotomic matrices, a novel application of Gauss sum theory in matrix inversion.
Findings

Application of Gauss sums to matrix inversion.
Results valid for square-free natural numbers.
Abstract
Let be a square-free natural number. We explicitly describe the inverses of the matrices where denotes a multiplicative inverse of mod and run through the set . These results are based on the theory of Gauss sums.
