Arnd Behring, Michal Czakon, Rene Poncelet

TL;DR
This paper presents advancements in the sector-improved residue subtraction scheme for NNLO QCD calculations, including a new phase space construction and a reformulation of the scheme.
Contribution
It introduces a new phase space construction that reduces configurations needed and rederives the scheme in four dimensions, enhancing computational efficiency.
Findings
Reduced phase space configurations for subtraction terms
Reformulated scheme in four dimensions
Improved computational efficiency in NNLO QCD calculations
Abstract
We discuss two recent developments of the sector-improved residue subtraction scheme for handling real radiation at NNLO in QCD. We present a new phase space construction which minimizes the number phase space configurations for subtraction terms and we rederive the four-dimensional formulation of the scheme.
