TL;DR
This paper extends the SS-HORSE method to charged particle scattering and applies it to study resonant states in $^5$Li and $^5$He nuclei using no-core shell model interactions JISP16 and Daejeon16, providing new insights into nuclear resonances.
Contribution
The paper generalizes the SS-HORSE approach for charged particles and applies it to $^5$Li and $^5$He, comparing different NN interactions within the no-core shell model.
Findings
Resonant states in $^5$Li and $^5$He are characterized using the extended SS-HORSE method.
Results show differences in resonance properties depending on the NN interaction used.
The approach successfully describes non-resonant proton-$eta$ scattering and resonances in light nuclei.
Abstract
The SS-HORSE approach to analysis of resonant states is generalized to the case of charged particle scattering utilizing analytical properties of partial scattering amplitudes and applied to the study of resonant states in the Li nucleus and non-resonant -wave proton- scattering within the no-core shell model using the JISP16 and Daejeon16 interactions. We present also the results of calculations of neutron- scattering and resonances in the He nucleus with Daejeon16 and compare with results published previously using JISP16.
