Circular critical exponents for Thue-Morse factors
Jeffrey Shallit, Ramin Zarifi

TL;DR
This paper investigates the maximum repetition exponent in circular factors of the Thue-Morse word, extending previous findings and providing new insights into its repetitive structure.
Contribution
It introduces new results on the largest repetition exponents in circular Thue-Morse factors, generalizing prior research.
Findings
Confirmed and extended previous results on repetition exponents.
Provided new bounds and properties for circular Thue-Morse factors.
Enhanced understanding of repetitive structures in automatic sequences.
Abstract
We prove various results about the largest exponent of a repetition in a factor of the Thue-Morse word, when that factor is considered as a circular word. Our results confirm and generalize previous results of Fitzpatrick and Aberkane & Currie.
