Xinye Peng (for the ALICE collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports on measurements of D-meson and charm-baryon production in heavy-ion collisions at the LHC, providing insights into charm quark behavior in quark-gluon plasma.
Contribution
It presents the first measurements of $ m \Lambda_c^+$-baryon production and the $ m \Lambda_c^+ / D^0$ ratio in Pb--Pb collisions, expanding understanding of charm hadronization.
Findings
First measurement of $ m \\Lambda_c^+$-baryon production in Pb--Pb collisions.
Observation of the $ m \\Lambda_c^+ / D^0$ ratio in heavy-ion collisions.
Comparison of charm hadron production across different collision systems.
Abstract
We present recent result on strange and non-strange D-meson production measured with ALICE in Pb--Pb collisions at the LHC. In addition, the measurements of the -baryon production and of the ratio in pp, p--Pb, and, for the first time ever, Pb--Pb collisions are reported.
