Hidden strange pentaquark in constituent quark models
Xuejie Liu, Hongxia Huang, Jialun Ping

TL;DR
This paper explores the potential existence of a hidden strange pentaquark state in the Nϕ system using a chiral quark model, highlighting the role of meson exchange and channel coupling in binding.
Contribution
It demonstrates that the Nϕ state can form a bound pentaquark through meson exchange and channel coupling effects within the chiral quark model.
Findings
Nϕ state can be bound via σ meson exchange
Channel coupling influences the bound state formation
The study supports the existence of a hidden strange pentaquark
Abstract
In the framework of the chiral quark model, we investigate the hidden strange pentaquark system of the state with the quantum numbers of IJ=. The results show that the state can be bound through the interaction of the meson exchange plus the effect of the channel coupling, which means that the effect of the channel coupling has an influence on the existence of this bound state.
