Matthew Buican, Zoltan Laczko, and Takahiro Nishinaka

TL;DR
This paper explores a series of renormalization group flows from strongly interacting 4D $ ext{N}=2$ SCFTs to highly supersymmetric 32-supercharge SCFTs, revealing supersymmetry enhancement along the flow.
Contribution
It introduces an infinite class of RG flows with accidental supersymmetry enhancement from known $ ext{N}=2$ SCFTs to $ ext{N}=8$ SCFTs with 32 supercharges.
Findings
Identification of RG flows connecting $ ext{N}=2$ and $ ext{N}=8$ SCFTs.
Evidence of supersymmetry enhancement along the flow.
Characterization of fixed points with maximal supersymmetry.
Abstract
We initiate a study of an infinite set of renormalization group flows with accidental supersymmetry enhancement. The ultraviolet fixed points are strongly interacting four-dimensional superconformal field theories (SCFTs) with no known Lagrangian descriptions, and the infrared fixed points are SCFTs with thirty-two (Poincar\'e plus special) supercharges.
