Effect of resonance for $CP$ asymmetry of the decay process $\bar{B}_{s}\rightarrow P\pi^+\pi^-$ in perturbative QCD
Gang L\"u, Yu-Ting Wang, Qin-Qin Zhi

TL;DR
This paper investigates how resonance effects, specifically $ ho- ho$ mixing, can significantly enhance direct $CP$ asymmetry in the decay $ar{B}_{s} ightarrow P ext{ } ext{ extpi}^+ ext{ extpi}^-$ within the perturbative QCD framework, reaching up to 59%.
Contribution
It introduces the analysis of resonance-induced $CP$ asymmetry enhancement in $ar{B}_{s}$ decays using the PQCD approach, focusing on $ ho- ho$ mixing effects.
Findings
$CP$ asymmetry can reach up to 59% near resonance.
Resonance effects significantly enhance $CP$ asymmetry.
The $ ho- ho$ mixing mechanism is crucial for $CP$ asymmetry enhancement.
Abstract
In the framework of Perturbative QCD (PQCD) approach we study the direct asymmetry for the decay channel around the resonance range via the mixing mechanism (where P refer to pseudoscalar meson). We find that the asymmetry can be enhanced by mixing when the masses of the pairs are at the area of resonance, and the maximum asymmetry can reach 59{\%} for the relevant decay channels.
