$\psi$-Epistemic Models and Bell Theorem
Won-Young Hwang

TL;DR
This paper explores the conditions under which mixed quantum states, decomposable in multiple ways, cannot be explained by a single hidden variable model, linking this to Bell's theorem.
Contribution
It establishes a connection between the decomposability of mixed states and the implications of Bell's theorem for hidden variable theories.
Findings
Identifies conditions preventing a mixed state from having a single hidden variable explanation.
Links the decomposability of mixed states to Bell's theorem.
Provides insights into the foundations of quantum mechanics.
Abstract
We consider a question in what condition a mixed state which can be decomposed in different ways cannot be described by a single set of hidden variables. The condition is closely related with Bell theorem.
