Analysis of $R^p$ inflationary model as $p\geqslant 2$
Lei-Hua Liu

TL;DR
This paper investigates the $R^p$ inflationary model for $p$ slightly greater than 2, showing it remains consistent with observations and can be tested by future CMB experiments.
Contribution
It extends the analysis of the $R^p$ inflation model to $p$ slightly above 2, providing detailed predictions for observable quantities and their dependence on $p$.
Findings
$n_s$ and $r$ decrease as $p$ increases
The model remains compatible with current observations for $p$ in [2, 2.02]
Predictions can be tested by future CMB satellite missions
Abstract
We study the inflationary model of [Muller:1989rp] for using the result of Ref. [Motohashi:2014tra]. After reproducing the observable quantities: the power spectral index , its corresponding running and the tensor to scalar ration in terms of e-folding number and , we show that inflation model is still alive as is from to . In this range, our calculation confirms that and agree with observations and is of order which needs more precise observational constraints. We find that, as the value of increases, all , and decrease. However, the precise interdependence between these observables is such that this class of models can in principle be tested by the next generation of dedicated satellite CMB probes.
