T. Xiao, S. Dobbs, A. Tomaradze, Kamal K. Seth

TL;DR
This paper reports precise measurements of two main decay branching fractions of the Omega-minus hyperon using electron-positron collision data at the CESR collider, providing valuable data for hyperon decay studies.
Contribution
First measurements of Omega-minus branching fractions using data from psi(2S) resonance at 3.69 GeV, with detailed analysis of decay channels and systematics.
Findings
Branching fraction for Omega- to Lambda0 K- is (68.9±9.5±4.3)%
Branching fraction for Omega- to Xi0 pi- is (19.0±4.0±1.2)%
Systematic uncertainties analyzed and accounted for in measurements.
Abstract
Using annihilation data taken at the CESR collider with the CLEO-c detector, measurements of two main branching fractions have been made using the reaction , hyperon pair production at ~GeV, the peak of the resonance. decay channels are identified through momentum distributions of charged particles, and systematics of the branching fractions have been studied. The result gives: , and .
