TL;DR
This study reports the first observation of specific bottomonium-related processes in electron-positron collisions near 11 GeV, providing new insights into bottomonium production and interactions at these energies.
Contribution
First observation of $e^+e^- o ( ext{pi+pi-pi0})_{ ext{non-omega}} ext{chi}_{b1}$ and evidence for $e^+e^- o ext{omega} ext{chi}_{bJ}$ near the $10$20 resonance, expanding knowledge of bottomonium production channels.
Findings
Observed $( ext{pi+pi-pi0})_{ ext{non-omega}} ext{chi}_{b1}$ with >5.3σ significance.
Evidence for $ ext{omega} ext{chi}_{bJ}$ with >4.0σ significance.
Set upper limits on $ ext{phi} ext{chi}_{bJ}$ cross sections at 90"].0 pb and 1.0 pb.
Abstract
We report searches for the processes and (J=1,2) based on data samples collected by the Belle experiment at the KEKB collider. We report the first observation of the process and first evidence for in the vicinity of the resonance, with center-of-mass energies from 10.96 to 11.05~GeV. The significances for and are greater than and , respectively. We also investigate the energy dependence of the cross section, but we cannot determine whether the contributions are from the and resonances or non-resonant continuum processes. The signals for are not…
