This paper explores supersymmetric solutions in seven-dimensional N=2 gauged supergravity with matter, identifying new vacua, interpolating solutions, and their uplift to M-theory, revealing the structure of these solutions and their limitations.
Contribution
It provides new supersymmetric solutions in 7D N=2 gauged supergravity, analyzes their properties, and discusses their uplift to M-theory, extending previous classifications.
Findings
Existence of two N=2 supersymmetric AdS_7 vacua with different symmetries.
Construction of solutions interpolating between asymptotic AdS_7 geometries.
Uplift of solutions to eleven-dimensional M-theory for specific gauge couplings.
Abstract
We study supersymmetric solutions within seven-dimensional gauged supergravity coupled to three vector multiplets in seven dimensions. The gauged supergravity contains six vector fields that gauge the symmetry and admits two supersymmetric vacua with and symmetries. We consider solutions interpolating between two asymptotically locally geometries in the presence of a three-form field. For a particular value of the two gauge coupling constants, the supersymmetric vacuum does not exist, but the solutions can be uplifted to eleven dimensions by a known reduction ansatz. We also study solutions of this type and their embedding in M-theory. We further extend these solutions to include the gauge fields and argue…
