Inviscid limit for SQG in bounded domains
Peter Constantin, Mihaela Ignatova, Huy Nguyen

TL;DR
This paper proves that solutions of the dissipative SQG equations in bounded domains converge to solutions of the inviscid SQG equation as viscosity vanishes, establishing a rigorous inviscid limit.
Contribution
It establishes the inviscid limit for weak solutions of dissipative SQG equations in bounded domains, a significant step in understanding their behavior.
Findings
Weak convergence of Leray-Hopf solutions to inviscid solutions
Validation of the inviscid limit in bounded domains
Extension of inviscid limit results to bounded domain setting
Abstract
We prove that the limit of any weakly convergent sequence of Leray-Hopf solutions of dissipative SQG equations is a weak solution of the inviscid SQG equation in bounded domains.
