TL;DR
This paper computes the finite-temperature gravitational Chern-Simons term in four dimensions, confirming its finiteness and its relation to chiral vortical conductivity, thus linking topological gravity modifications to observable transport phenomena.
Contribution
It provides the first explicit calculation of the finite-temperature gravitational Chern-Simons term and connects it to chiral vortical conductivity in a four-dimensional setting.
Findings
The gravitational Chern-Simons term is finite at finite temperature.
Its transversal part matches the known chiral vortical conductivity.
The calculation confirms the topological nature of the term at finite temperature.
Abstract
We calculate the linearized four-dimensional gravitational Chern-Simons term at the finite temperature, show its finiteness and explicitly demonstrate that its transversal part matches the known result for the chiral vortical conductivity.
