TL;DR
This paper analyzes $CP$ violation in specific B meson decays using QCD factorization, explaining experimental asymmetries through resonance interference and predicting $CP$ asymmetry and branching ratios.
Contribution
It introduces a model explaining localized $CP$ asymmetries via resonance interference and provides parameter ranges consistent with experimental data.
Findings
Experimental $CP$ asymmetry explained by resonance interference.
Predicted $A_{CP}$ range: [-0.259, 0.006].
Predicted branching ratio: [0.585, 3.230]×10^{-5}.
Abstract
Within the QCD factorization approach, we study the violations in and decays. We find the experimental data of the localized asymmetry in decays in the region and can be explained by the interference of two intermediate resonances, and when the parameters in our interference model are in the allowed ranges, i.e. the relative strong phase and the end-point divergence parameters and . With the obtained allowed ranges for and , we obtain the predictions for the asymmetry parameter and the branching fraction $\mathcal{B} \in [0.585,…
