Does shape matter? v_2 vs eccentricity in small x gluon production
Alex Kovner, Vladimir V. Skokov

TL;DR
This paper investigates how the spatial shape of the projectile influences the second flow harmonic in gluon production during p-A collisions, revealing an anti-correlation when the collision area is fixed.
Contribution
It provides an analytical and numerical study of the impact of projectile shape eccentricity on gluon flow harmonics within the CGC framework, highlighting the anti-correlation.
Findings
Eccentricity affects the second flow harmonic in gluon production.
The study finds an anti-correlation between shape eccentricity and flow harmonic.
Results are consistent across analytical and numerical approaches.
Abstract
We study analytically and numerically effects of spatial eccentricity of the projectile shape on the second flow harmonic in inclusive gluon production in p-A collisions in the CGC framework. Keeping the collision area fixed, we find that the two quantities are anti-correlated.
