TL;DR
This paper explores how $ abla$-Poincaré invariant field theories affect vacuum energy, showing improved UV behavior with the equivariant Dirac operator, which may influence the cosmological constant problem.
Contribution
It demonstrates that using the equivariant Dirac operator in $ abla$-Poincaré invariant theories improves UV behavior of vacuum energy, offering new insights into the cosmological constant problem.
Findings
Improved UV behavior of vacuum energy with equivariant Dirac operator
Potential revision of the cosmological constant problem
Enhanced understanding of $ abla$-Poincaré invariant field theories
Abstract
We investigate the vacuum energy in -Poincar\'e invariant field theories. It is shown that for the equivariant Dirac operator one obtains an improvement in UV behavior of the vacuum energy and therefore the cosmological constant problem has to be revised.
