Jin-Huan Sheng, Ru-Min Wang, Ya-Dong Yang

TL;DR
This paper explores how scalar leptoquarks could influence lepton flavor violating B meson decays, constraining their parameters with recent experimental data and predicting observable effects for future measurements at LHCb.
Contribution
It provides new constraints on scalar leptoquark parameters based on recent decay measurements and predicts their impact on lepton flavor violating processes.
Findings
Leptoquark parameters significantly affect B meson decay observables.
Constrained parameter space aligns with current experimental upper limits.
Future measurements could distinguish leptoquark effects from other new physics models.
Abstract
Leptoquarks have been suggested to solve a variety of discrepancies between the expected and observed phenomenon. In this paper, we investigate the effect of scalar leptoquarks on the lepton flavor violating B meson rare decays which involve the quark level transition . The leptoquark parameter space is constrained by using the recently measured upper limits on the and . Using such constrained leptoquark parameter space, some relevant physical quantities are also predicted and we find that the constrained New Physics parameters in the leptoquark model have very obvious effects on the relevant physical quantities in this paper. With future measurements of observable in decays at the LHCb, more and more differentiated…
