Angular analysis of $B^0_d \rightarrow K^{*}\mu^+\mu^-$ decays in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}= 8$ TeV with the ATLAS detector
ATLAS Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper presents an angular analysis of the decay $B^0_d ightarrow K^{*}mu^+mu^-$ using ATLAS data at 8 TeV, measuring angular parameters that align with Standard Model expectations.
Contribution
First measurement of angular parameters in $B^0_d ightarrow K^{*}mu^+mu^-$ decays with ATLAS at 8 TeV, providing data compatible with Standard Model predictions.
Findings
Measured angular parameters consistent with Standard Model
Provided the first ATLAS results for this decay channel
Used 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of data from 2012
Abstract
An angular analysis of the decay is presented, based on proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. The study is using 20.3 fb of integrated luminosity collected during 2012 at centre-of-mass energy of TeV. Measurements of the longitudinal polarisation fraction and a set of angular parameters obtained for this decay are presented. The results are compatible with the Standard Model predictions.
