TL;DR
This study searches for pair production of exotic Zc states in upsilon decays and electron-positron collisions at specific energies, finding no significant signals and setting upper limits on their production rates.
Contribution
First experimental search for Zc pair production in upsilon decays and e+e- annihilation at these energies, providing upper limits on their production cross sections and branching fractions.
Findings
No significant signals observed in any studied modes.
Upper limits set on product branching fractions and cross sections.
Results constrain models of Zc production in these processes.
Abstract
The first search for pair production in and decays and in annihilation at = 10.52, 10.58, and 10.867 GeV is conducted using data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy electron-positron collider. No significant signals are observed in any of the studied modes, and the 90\% credibility level upper limits on their product branching fractions in and decays ( (, , )) and the product of Born cross section and branching fraction for () at = 10.52, 10.58, and 10.867 GeV are determined.
