TL;DR
This paper introduces a new homogenisation method for critical contrast materials, explicitly linking the limits to time-dispersive media through norm-resolvent asymptotics.
Contribution
It presents a unified approach to critical-contrast homogenisation with explicit construction of asymptotics and connects homogenisation limits to time-dispersive media.
Findings
Explicit norm-resolvent asymptotics constructed
Homogenisation limits related to time-dispersive media
Provides a unified framework for critical-contrast homogenisation
Abstract
A novel approach to critical-contrast homogenisation is proposed. Norm-resolvent asymptotics are explicitly constructed. An essential feature of our approach is that it relates homogenisation limits to a class of time-dispersive media.
