TL;DR
This paper calculates decay amplitudes and spectra of excited bottom and bottom-strange mesons using a nonrelativistic quark model, providing theoretical predictions and state assignments for recently observed mesons.
Contribution
It introduces detailed decay calculations for excited bottom mesons using a nonrelativistic potential model and assigns observed states to theoretical predictions.
Findings
Predicted decay widths and spectra for various excited B and Bs mesons.
Assignments of experimental states to theoretical meson states.
Comparison of model predictions with experimental data.
Abstract
The strong decay amplitudes and radiative partial widths of orbital and radially excited states of and mesons are presented. These results are obtained with a nonrelativistic potential quark model, the nonrelativistic reduction of the electromagnetic transition operator, and the "" model of strong decays. The predictions are compared to experiment where possible and assignments for the recently discovered states, , , , , , and , are made.
