TL;DR
This paper computes the next-to-next-to-leading order soft function for $tW$ production in QCD, enhancing precision in differential cross section predictions for massive colored particles using the $N$-jettiness subtraction method.
Contribution
It provides the first calculation of the $N$-jettiness soft function at NNLO for $tW$ production, a key step for improved theoretical predictions.
Findings
Validated divergent parts with renormalization group equations
Enhanced accuracy of differential cross section calculations
Supported the $N$-jettiness subtraction method for massive particles
Abstract
We calculate the -jettiness soft function for production up to next-to-next-to-leading order in QCD, which is an important ingredient of the -jettiness subtraction method for predicting the differential cross sections of massive coloured particle productions. The divergent parts of the results have been checked using the renormalization group equations controlled by the soft anomalous dimension.
