Abstract
We provide a bouquet decomposition for the determinantal Milnor fiber of an essentially isolated determinantal singularity of arbitrary type . The building blocks in the decomposition are (suspensions of) hyperplane sections of the associated generic determinantal variety in general position off the origin.
