TL;DR
This paper investigates how SU(3) flavor symmetry breaking influences charmed baryon decays, successfully explaining experimental data and predicting branching ratios that can be tested in future experiments.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of SU(3) symmetry breaking effects in charmed baryon decays, offering explanations for existing data and predictions for unmeasured decay modes.
Findings
SU(3) breaking effects account for observed decay ratios
Predicted branching ratios for various charmed baryon decays
Significant SU(3) breaking contributions in decay processes
Abstract
We explore the breaking effects of the flavor symmetry in the singly Cabibbo-suppressed anti-triplet charmed baryon decays of , with and the baryon (pseudo-scalar) octets. We find that these breaking effects can be used to account for the experimental data on the decay branching ratios of and =/. In addition, we obtain that , and , which all receive significant contributions from the breaking effects,…
