A Democratic Resummation Procedure of Soft Gluon Emission for Hadronic Inelastic Cross-sections and Survival Probabilities
Giulia Pancheri, Yogendra. N. Srivastava

TL;DR
This paper introduces a statistical model for soft gluon re-summation in inelastic collisions, used to estimate survival probabilities at the LHC, and compares it with other models and experimental data.
Contribution
It presents a novel statistical resummation approach for soft gluon emissions in hadronic inelastic processes, enhancing the accuracy of survival probability estimates.
Findings
The model provides estimates consistent with experimental data.
Comparison shows advantages over existing models.
Improves understanding of soft gluon effects in high-energy collisions.
Abstract
We discuss a model for soft gluon re-summation based on a statistical description of independent emissions during inelastic collisions. The model is applied to estimate Survival Probabilities at the LHC. A comparison with other models and experimental data is presented.
