TL;DR
This paper investigates the properties and decay behaviors of D wave charmonium states, especially Y(4320), using theoretical models to predict their widths and guide future experimental searches.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of D wave charmonium states, including the Y(4320), and predicts their decay widths to aid experimental identification.
Findings
Y(4320) width can be explained within the quark-pair creation model.
Predicted decay widths for various D wave charmonia.
Guidance for future experimental verification at LHCb and Belle II.
Abstract
Inspired by the recent observations of the vector charmonium-like states at BES III Collaboration and at LHCb Collaboration, we comb the wave charmonium state in the present work. We first evaluate the possibility of as by investigating its open charm decays in quark-pair creation model and we find the width of can be reproduced in a reasonable parameter range. Moreover, we take , and as the scale of , and charmonia to estimate the open charm decays of other wave charmonia. The total and partial widths of wave charmonium states have been predicted, which could be tested by further measurements at LHCb and Belle II Collaborations.
