P. Castorina, S. Plumari, H. Satz

TL;DR
This paper updates the understanding of strangeness suppression in high-energy collisions, showing its universal behavior as a function of initial entropy density based on recent STAR collaboration data.
Contribution
It provides a detailed update on the universal behavior of the strangeness suppression factor gamma_s using new experimental data.
Findings
Gamma_s correlates with initial entropy density across energies.
Updated data confirms previous theoretical predictions.
Universal behavior observed in diverse collision systems.
Abstract
Recent extensive data from the beam energy scan of the STAR collaboration at BNL-RHIC provide the basis for a detailed update for the universal behavior of the strangeness suppression factor gamma_s as function of the initial entropy density, as proposed in our recent paper [1].
