TL;DR
This study investigates the decay widths of upsilon mesons into an anti-d* (2380) and other particles using a phenomenological approach based on crossing symmetry and quark-meson interactions.
Contribution
It introduces a method to estimate decay widths of upsilon mesons into anti-d* particles using wave functions and quark-meson couplings, providing new predictions for these decay processes.
Findings
Decay widths are 2-10 times smaller than for anti-d.
Momentum of anti-d* is between 0.3 and 0.8 GeV.
Anti-d* can likely be observed in these decays.
Abstract
The decay widths of with are studied in a phenomenological way. With the help of crossing symmetry, the decay widths are obtained by investigating the imaginary part of the forward scattering amplitudes between and . The wave functions of and deuteron obtained in previous studies are used for calculating the amplitude. The interaction between () and is governed by the quark-meson interaction where the coupling constant is determined by fitting the observed widths of . The numerical results show that the decay widths of are about times smaller than that of . The calculated momentum of is in the range GeV. Therefore, it is very likely that…
