Effective Field Theory description of Phantom Fields
Elcio Abdalla

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates how a simple field theory on a complex gauge background can mimic phantom fields, leading to an effective equation of state with w<-1 in cosmology.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach where a basic field theory can produce phantom-like behavior in cosmological models.
Findings
Field theory can behave as a phantom field on non-trivial gauge backgrounds.
The model contributes to effective w<-1 state equations in cosmology.
Provides a new perspective on phantom field origins.
Abstract
In this work I show that a simple Field Theory on a non trivial gauge background may behave as a phantom field and contribute to an effective state equation fluid contribution to cosmology.
