TL;DR
This paper reports the first measurements of branching fractions for certain singly Cabibbo-suppressed decays of the D0 meson, providing new experimental data and setting upper limits for unobserved decay modes.
Contribution
The study presents the first measurements of specific D0 decay modes and their branching fractions using the BESIII detector, expanding knowledge of charm meson decay processes.
Findings
Measured branching fractions for D0→π0π0π0, π0π0η, and π0ηη decays.
Set an upper limit for the D0→ηηη decay branching fraction.
Achieved statistical significances above 3σ for three decay modes.
Abstract
Using a data sample of collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 collected with the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of ,we search for the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decays , , and using the double tag method. The absolute branching fractions are measured to be , and with the statistical significances of , and , respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second ones systematic. No significant signal of is found, and…
