Phase Transition for the Contact Process in a Random Environment on Zd*Z+
Qiang Yao

TL;DR
This paper reviews and extends results on the contact process in a static random environment on half-space lattices, discussing methodological limitations and comparing with related research.
Contribution
It revisits and expands upon previous findings on the contact process in half-space environments, highlighting methodological constraints and providing comparative analysis.
Findings
Reviewed key results from Chen & Yao (2009, 2012).
Extended understanding of contact process behavior in half-space.
Discussed limitations of current methods for full-space cases.
Abstract
We review the results in Chen & Yao(2009,2012) which concern the contact process in a static random environment on the half space Z^d*Z^+ and make some addition to them. Furthermore, we explain why our methods cannot apply to the whole space case and compare our results with some related works.
