Bingfang Yang, Biaofeng Hou, Huaying Zhang

TL;DR
This study investigates the potential to detect the associated production of a Higgs boson and a single top quark in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity at the 14 TeV LHC, focusing on the Higgs to gamma gamma decay channel.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed analysis of the $thj$ channel in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity, estimating the exclusion limits on the top partner mass at the LHC.
Findings
Can exclude top partner mass up to 805 GeV (case A) and 857 GeV (case B) at 2σ confidence level.
Uses fast detector simulation to evaluate the search sensitivity.
Highlights the potential of the $h ightarrow \gamma\gamma$ channel for new physics searches.
Abstract
In the littlest Higgs model with T-parity, we study associated production of a Higgs and a single top quark at the 14 TeV LHC. We focus on the Higgs to two photons decay and the semileptonic top decay channel. By performing a fast detector simulation, we find that the search in the selected channel can excluded the top partner mass up to 805 (857) GeV for case A (case B) at confidence level at 14 TeV LHC with the integrated luminosity .
