## TL;DR

This paper introduces a hybrid global-local optimization algorithm designed to enhance quantum control, achieving faster solutions for ultracold Bose-Einstein condensate manipulation.

## Contribution

The paper presents a novel combination of local search and evolutionary algorithms for quantum control optimization, improving solution speed.

## Key findings

- Faster quantum control solutions achieved
- Effective optimization for Bose-Einstein condensates
- Hybrid algorithm outperforms traditional methods

## Abstract

We propose a Global-Local optimization algorithm for quantum control that combines standard local search methodologies with evolutionary algorithms. This allows us to find faster solutions to a set of problems relating to ultracold control of Bose-Einstein condensates.
