Jaemo Park, Hyeonjoon Shin

TL;DR
This paper classifies 1/2-BPS D-branes in the AdS4×CP3 background by analyzing boundary conditions of the covariant open superstring action, revealing restrictions imposed by the Kähler structure on CP3.
Contribution
It provides a covariant classification of 1/2-BPS D-branes in AdS4×CP3 using κ-symmetry, highlighting the influence of the Kähler structure on possible D-brane configurations.
Findings
Classified 1/2-BPS D-branes via boundary conditions and κ-symmetry.
Identified restrictions on D-branes due to the Kähler structure of CP3.
Excluded configurations with worldvolume fluxes.
Abstract
We consider the open superstring action in the AdS background and investigate the suitable boundary conditions for the open superstring describing the 1/2-BPS D-branes by imposing the -symmetry of the action. This results in the classification of 1/2-BPS D-branes from covariant open superstring. It is shown that the 1/2-BPS D-brane configurations are restricted considerably by the K\"{a}hler structure on . We just consider D-branes without worldvolume fluxes.
