M. Thoennessen

TL;DR
This paper provides an update on the discovery of nuclides in 2017, reporting 34 new nuclides observed and retraction of six previously assigned nuclides, reflecting ongoing progress and revisions in nuclear science.
Contribution
It offers the latest data on nuclide discoveries, including new observations and corrections to previous identifications, enhancing the accuracy of nuclear data.
Findings
34 new nuclides observed in 2017
6 previously identified nuclides retracted
Updated record of nuclide discoveries
Abstract
The 2017 update of the discovery of nuclide project is presented. 34 new nuclides were observed for the first time in 2017. However, the assignment of six previously identified nuclides had to be retracted.
