Abstract
Let be a simple algebraic group over an algebraically closed field , where is either 0 or a good prime for . We consider the modality of the action of a Borel subgroup of on the Lie algebra of the unipotent radical of , and report on computer calculations used to show that , when is of type . This completes the determination of the values for for of exceptional type.
