TL;DR
This paper estimates the transverse single spin asymmetry in $J/$ electroproduction at J-Lab and EIC energies, comparing different models and gluon Sivers function parametrizations to understand spin effects in quarkonium production.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed estimates of TSSA in $J/$ production using GPM, CSM, and CEM models with recent gluon Sivers function data.
Findings
TSSA estimates vary significantly between models.
Color singlet and color evaporation models yield different asymmetry predictions.
Results highlight the importance of gluon Sivers function parametrizations.
Abstract
We estimate transverse single spin asymmetry (TSSA) in electroproduction of for J-Lab and EIC energies. We present estimates of TSSAs in production within generalized parton model (GPM) using recent parametrizations of gluon Sivers function (GSF) and compare the results obtained using color singlet model (CSM) with those obtained using color evaporation model (CEM) of quarkonium production.
