TL;DR
This paper investigates the symmetries and conservation laws of a nonlinear Schrödinger equation featuring PT-symmetric potentials and inhomogeneous nonlinearity, enhancing understanding of its mathematical structure and physical implications.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of symmetries and conservation laws for a specific nonlinear Schrödinger model with PT symmetry and inhomogeneity, which was not previously explored.
Findings
Identified new symmetry properties of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation
Derived conservation laws related to PT-symmetric potentials
Provided insights into the mathematical structure of inhomogeneous nonlinear systems
Abstract
In this paper, we construct and analyse the symmetries and conservation laws (conserved densities) of a model of a nonlinear Scrodinger equation with PT-symmetric potentials and inhomogeneity.
