Mapping Ricci-based theories of gravity into general relativity
V. I. Afonso, Gonzalo J. Olmo, D. Rubiera-Garcia

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that solutions of many Ricci-based metric-affine gravity theories can be directly mapped to solutions of general relativity, enabling the use of GR techniques to investigate extended gravitational models.
Contribution
It establishes a correspondence between Ricci-based gravity theories and GR solutions, facilitating analysis of alternative gravity models using established GR methods.
Findings
Solutions of Ricci-based theories can be transformed into GR solutions.
The mapping simplifies the study of extended gravity models.
This approach broadens the tools available for exploring gravitational physics.
Abstract
We show that the space of solutions of a wide family of Ricci-based metric-affine theories of gravity can be put into correspondence with the space of solutions of general relativity (GR). This allows us to use well-established methods and results from GR to explore new gravitational physics beyond it.
