Bing-Song Zou

TL;DR
This paper reviews the production of N* resonances in electron-positron annihilations, highlighting its unique advantages and discussing experimental results and potential new sources for N* spectroscopy beyond the charmonium region.
Contribution
It introduces N* production from e+e- annihilations as a novel source for spectroscopy, emphasizing its advantages like isospin and low spin filtering, and discusses recent experimental findings and future prospects.
Findings
Experimental results on N* from e+e- annihilations are summarized.
The phenomenological implications of these results are discussed.
Potential new sources for N* production in e+e- annihilations are explored.
Abstract
Up to now, the production from annihilations has been studied only around charmonium region. Charmonium decays to s are analogous to (time-like) EM form factors in that the charm quark annihilation provides a nearly pointlike (ggg) current. Complementary to other sources, such as , and reactions, this new source for spectroscopy has a few advantages, such as an isospin filter and a low spin filter. The experimental results on from annihilations and their phenomenological implications are reviewed. Possible new sources on production from annihilations are discussed.
