Contribution
It presents a new digital straight line recognition method based on slope properties, integrating chain coding and demonstrating improved efficiency.
Findings
Effective recognition of digital straight lines using slope properties
Combines chain coding with slope analysis for improved accuracy
Validated efficiency through experimental testing
Abstract
We present a new method for the recognition of digital straight lines based on the slope. This method combines the Freeman's chain coding scheme and new discovered properties of the digital slope introduced in this paper. We also present the efficiency of our method from a testbed.
