Proton structure in a light-front quark-diquark model: Collins asymmetry
Tanmay Maji, Dipankar Chakrabarti

TL;DR
This paper predicts Collins asymmetries in proton SIDIS processes using a light-front quark-diquark model based on AdS/QCD, and compares these predictions with experimental data from HERMES and COMPASS.
Contribution
It introduces a novel light-front quark-diquark model for proton structure derived from soft-wall AdS/QCD to predict spin asymmetries in SIDIS.
Findings
Model predictions agree with HERMES and COMPASS data.
Provides insights into proton spin structure.
Validates the light-front quark-diquark approach.
Abstract
We present model predictions of Collins asymmetries for proton in the SIDIS process for and channels. We use a recently proposed light-front quark-diquark model for proton with the light-front wave functions predicted in soft-wall AdS/QCD. The model predictions are compared with the HERMES and COMPASS data.
