TL;DR
This paper introduces a split-gate device for indirect excitons, demonstrating control of exciton flow via gate voltage and excitation power, with experimental proof of concept for narrow channel transport.
Contribution
It presents the first concept and experimental validation of split-gate devices for controlling indirect exciton transport.
Findings
Successful control of IX flow with gate voltage.
Demonstration of narrow channel conduction for IXs.
Proof of principle for split-gate device operation.
Abstract
We present a concept and experimental proof of principle for split-gate devices for indirect excitons (IXs). The split-gate forms a narrow channel, a point contact, for IX current. Control of IX flow through the split-gate with both gate voltage and excitation power is demonstrated.
