Rare $B$ decays at CMS
Niladribihari Sahoo (on behalf of the CMS Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports recent CMS results on rare B meson decays involving muons, which are sensitive to potential new physics beyond the Standard Model, by measuring various decay observables.
Contribution
The paper presents new measurements of rare B decay modes at CMS, focusing on observables sensitive to new physics contributions.
Findings
Measurements of branching fractions and asymmetries consistent with Standard Model expectations.
Improved precision in the determination of decay observables.
Constraints on new physics models from the observed decay properties.
Abstract
The Flavor Changing Neutral Current mediated decays and provide high sensitivity to new physics contributions. Sensitive observables include the branching fraction, the muon forward-backward asymmetry, the fraction of longitudinal polarisation and the differential branching fraction. We report herein the recent results from CMS on these decay modes.
