Severin Lust

TL;DR
This thesis classifies all maximally supersymmetric solutions in gauged supergravity theories, focusing on anti-de Sitter solutions relevant for the AdS/CFT correspondence, and explores their gauge structures and deformations.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive classification of maximally supersymmetric solutions across all gauged supergravities in dimensions D ≥ 3 and analyzes the structure of AdS solutions in D ≥ 4.
Findings
Classified all maximally supersymmetric solutions in gauged supergravity theories.
Analyzed the gauge group structures of AdS solutions.
Explored supersymmetry-preserving deformations related to dual SCFTs.
Abstract
In this thesis we study maximally supersymmetric solutions of gauged supergravity theories, with special focus on anti-de Sitter solutions. The latter are relevant in the context of the AdS/CFT correspondence. In the first part we classify all maximally supersymmetric solutions of all gauged or deformed supergravity theories in space-time dimensions. In the second part we exclusively study maximally supersymmetric AdS solutions of gauged supergravities in dimensions . We discuss the structure of the allowed gauge groups as well as possible supersymmetry preserving deformations, which correspond to the conformal manifold of the dual SCFTs.
