TL;DR
This study conducted a search for the exotic meson $X(5568)$ in proton-antiproton collision data but found no evidence, setting an upper limit on its production rate relative to $B^0_s$ mesons.
Contribution
The paper provides the first search for the $X(5568)$ meson in $par p$ collisions and establishes an upper limit on its production, contributing to understanding its existence.
Findings
No evidence for $X(5568)$ observed.
Set an upper limit of 6.7% on its production fraction.
Contributes to the ongoing investigation of exotic mesons.
Abstract
A search for the exotic meson decaying into the final state is performed using data corresponding to from collisions at GeV recorded by the Collider Detector at Fermilab. No evidence for this state is found and an upper limit of 6.7\% at the 95\% confidence level is set on the fraction of produced through the process.
