This paper explores the algebraic freedom involved in selecting a square root in massive gravity theories, providing insights into the mathematical structure underlying these models.
Contribution
It offers an algebraic perspective on the choice of square roots in massive gravity, highlighting the mathematical ambiguities and their implications.
Findings
Identifies algebraic ambiguities in massive gravity
Analyzes the mathematical structure of square root choices
Provides a foundation for understanding massive gravity's algebraic properties
Abstract
We describe the freedom of choosing a square root in massive gravity from algebraic point of view. This contribution is based on the talk given by one of us (AG) at the Geometric Foundations of Gravity conference in Tartu in August 2017.
