TL;DR
This paper reviews theoretical models of $ar{K}N$ and $ ext{eta}N$ interactions, highlighting variations in predictions and discussing conditions for dynamically generated states relevant for kaonic atoms and meson-nuclear states.
Contribution
It compares different theoretical approaches to meson-baryon interactions and clarifies conditions for the emergence of dynamically generated states in these systems.
Findings
Significant variations among models at subthreshold energies.
Conditions for dynamically generated states are established.
Implications for kaonic atom and meson-nuclear studies.
Abstract
We compare and review the theoretical predictions for the and elastic amplitudes where sizable variations are found among the considered approaches, especially at subthreshold energies relevant for studies of kaonic atoms and meson-nuclear quasi-bound states. Conditions for an appearance of dynamically generated states in meson-baryon multi-channel interactions are established and discussed for the and systems.
